Welcome to the official site of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). This site focuses mainly on the trade links between Australia and Indonesia.
What we do?
The department's role is to advance the interests of Australia and Australians internationally. This involves working to strengthen Australia's security; enhancing Australia's prosperity; and helping Australian traveler's and Australians overseas.
The department of foreign affairs and trade (DFAT) provides foreign and trade policy advice to the government. As an organisation we work with other governments to ensure that Australia's pursuit of its global, regional and bilateral interests is co-ordinated effectively.
